Introduction: Glucosinolates (GLS) are secondary plant metabolites found in members of families within the order Brassicales (e.g. broccoli, pak choi, cauliflower, kale, mustard or rapeseed), but they are also present in plants of Moringaceae (moringa) and Caricaceae (papaya).
